March 8, 2008 - Welcome Katja

Westridge Farms is proud and excited to announce the addition of Katja Wiedrich to our staff as a breeding manager and a head groom. Katja's numerous years of experience in the Arabian world coupled with her many talents will greatly compliment Westridge Farms' philosophy of strong teamwork and excellence!

December 11, 2007 - Congratulations

Katelyn Knoploh and Jenna Ball are both winners in the 2007 MAHA Youth High Point Program. Katelyn and her horse KB Elite Storm took top honors in the High Point Youth/Horse division, which is awarded to the youth/horse with the highest points earned by the same horse/rider combination. Jenna was the High Point Youth Rider in the 14-17 Equitation division. Congratulations girls - we are very proud of you both!!

October 30, 2007 - U.S. National Reserve Champion - PPROVIDENCE

Westridge Farms welcomes and congratulates its newest champion - Pprovidence. This multi-national champion's accolades include 2006 unanimous Canadian National Champion Futurity Colt, 2006 U.S. National Reserve Champion Futurity Colt, 2005 unanimous Scottsdale Champion and most recently 2007 U.S. National Reserve Champion Arabian Junior Stallion Breeding 3-5!

September 12, 2007 - Lesson Package Special!

Westridge Farms is now offering riding lessons to youth (ages 5 and up) and adults - all levels welcome. Currently, we are running a special on our lesson packages, which make great gifts. Please contact Val Sylla for further information. Come experience all that horseback riding has to offer!!

August 20, 2007 - 3 Time Canadian National Champion

Congratulations to Mark and Val Sylla and their beloved Aristokayte. Val and Kayte took home the championship in the Arabian Mare Breeding Amateur Owner to Handle class. This is the third Canadian National Championship title for Kayte; in fact, she is undefeated at Canadian Nationals! Make sure to look for Kayte and Val at U.S. Nationals.

August 4, 2007 - SOLD

The beautiful and talented Lord Of The Danz was recently sold to Karen Root of Orem Utah. "Arnie" will be in training at Stachowski Farm where we wish Karen and Arnie the best of luck in their show career.

May 1, 2007 - It's a Girl!!

We finally have a filly, and she was well worth the wait. A gorgeous bay with four white socks, a long, elegant neck and a classic head with the perfect white blaze - she is sure to turn heads. Sired by DS Major Afire and out of our Padron Psyche daughter, Psyches Psong, she has a pedigree for breeding, halter or performance. This filly is for sale and is nominated for all programs and futurities. Photos coming soon.

March 25, 2007 - Oh Baby!

On March 25, an exquisite chestnut colt was born at Westridge Farms. The ultimate of Carol Steppe's breeding, this foal is sired by It's Showtime and his dam is our beloved Aristokayte. He is fine, tall and very correct with a freaky, long neck and a massive trot. You will love him the minute you see him. He is offered for sale and is nominated in all programs and futurities. March 18, 2007 - He's Here

Check out our latest colt. WR Ali is sired by MPA Giovanni out of Miss Escada. He is very "typey" with an extreme head. This is one action-packed show colt and breeding prospect.

New owners Matt Pearson and Valerie Sylla are pleased to welcome Air France to Westridge Farms. With tons of style and an amazing attitude, he'll be one to keep an eye on in the country english division.

With the 2006 show season winding down, Westridge Farms looks back with a sense of pride on our clients' and trainers' accomplishments. We are finishing our season at U.S. Nationals in Louisville. Look for our horses in western, hunt, and halter.

July 10, 2006 - Legion of Supreme Honor

Proud owners Allie and Tori Fisher are excited to announce BB Independence+/ has achieved his Legion of Supreme Honor. "Indy" has an impressive show record, including a National Top Ten, 3 Regional Championships, 7 Regional Reserve Championships, 4 Regional Top Fives, as well as numerous Class A championships. This year at Canadian Nationals look for "Indy" with Allie Fisher in Arabian Hunter Pleasure 14-17 and Bria Long in Walk/Trot Hunter Pleasure 10 & Under.

April 23, 2006 - It's a Boy!

Westridge Farms is proud to announce the arrival of a colt out of Psyches Psong x Baywatch V. He is a flashy dark bay colt with four white socks, a small star and a small snip on his nose. He is very leggy and has a beautiful face with a "poppy" eye.

Sam Pearson is the proud new owner of Psyches Top Gun "Gunner." Look for Sam and Gunner next year in the purebred 13 and under division.
