Future Opportunity As riders become more polished and confident, the lesson instructor may offer them the opportunity to show a Westridge lesson horse at a local “A” Rated show. Costs to consider are extra lessons; show fees, suit rental or purchase, travel and hotel expenses, etc. Some items can be rented or borrowed. The purpose of this experience is to prepare the rider to move into Open competition. Many students who began their horse experience with the Westrige lesson program have gone on to purchase show horses and compete nationally as youth or adult riders. COST = $550 Show Fee for an “A” Rated show
